The Lodge sits right on the water and has many outdoor places to sit, relax and listen to the loons. Taking a kayak out was a great experience. The Cajun Pasta at the restaurant was one of the best I've ever had, and the service was great. Thank you and the resort dogs for a perfect stay! (And it is just 5 minutes from the airport if you are going to I.R.!) ”

“ We rented a pontoon for 4 hours from Skyport Lodge. Was a very easy and clear process through their self-reservation process. I received follow up emails confirming the reservation and reminders the day before. As far as the checkout process - seamless. Parked the car, unloaded gear, walked out on the dock, got in and started the pontoon and off we went. They also had a self-pay bait area where we got some leeches to use as bait. The pontoon was nice, clean and ready for us. We were also able to use their fish cleaning station back at the resort (yep, caught some nice size small mouth bass). Hope this review is helpful and provides reassurance to you that Skyport is a great place to rent a pontoon. ”

“ I just have to say that this place is 10/10 awesome and we have been coming to grand Marais area for over 15 years and we have stayed on Devil track lake for the past 2 years and we have eaten at the raven rock for the past 2 years and each time has been absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is super laid back and they had live music as well which was a welcome addition. The blackened walleye is no joke the best piece of fish I’ve ever had and their homemade key lime pie is also to die for. The doggies are also roaming the area and are very friendly. 10/10 will definitely be back again next time we come to Grand Marais! Thank you! ”
